Nube de Pájaros: Ya volamos. Und schon sind wir geflogen. We were flying already.

Estreno.

Ya hace una semana, el jueves 5 de abril, teníamos nuestro estreno del proyecto “Nube de pájaros” (Nube de Pájaros). Creo que puedo hablar para todos nosotros, que teníamos una noche increíble que nunca vamos a olvidar y que sigue siendo importante en nuestras vidas. Poníamos toda nuestra energía y fuerza en esos 50 minutos, y volamos altos para las casi 400 personas que asistieron nuestro espectáculo. 

Para mí era una noche muy especial, una noche que otra vez me mostró como el arte no solamente puede transformar a un público que lo vea, pero también a uno mismo, haciéndolo. Todo el proceso del proyecto, cada ensayo, cada minuto con este grupo único ha sido muy especial, importantísimo para mi vida. Aprendí mucho sobre mí misma, mi cuerpo, el grupo y sus miembros, la danza y el arte en general entre muchas otras cosas; conocimientos y experiencias que van a acompañarme siempre. Gané no solamente conocimiento y experiencias, pero compañeros, amigos para la vida que en muy poco, pero intenso tiempo se convirtieron de desconocidos en algo que siente como familia. Tengo profunda gratitud que tenía la posibilidad de participar en algo tan lindo, y agradezco muchísimo a todas las personas que han sido parte de eso. Jamás me imaginé que pasaría algo así cuando vine a Costa Rica hace casi nueve meses, pero realmente es una de las cosas mejores que pasaron aquí.

Premiere.

It has already been one week, last Thursday (05^th of April), that we had our premiere for the project “Nube de pájaros” (Nube de Pájaros). I think I can speak for all of us saying, that we had an incredible night which we will never forget and which will continue being important in our lives. In those 50 minutes put all energy and strength we had to fly high for the almost 400 people who were participating in the event. 

For me it was a very special night, a night which again me showed how art cannot only transform people receiving it, but also the ones, us, who are part of creating it. The whole process of the project, every rehearsal, every minute with this unique group was special and incredible, super important for my life. I have learned a lot about myself, my body, the group and its members, dancing and art in general, to only mention some; knowledge and experiences which will be accompanying me always. But I won not only knowledge and experiences but companions, friends for life who in very little, but intense time, transformed from strangers into something which even feels like family. I am extremely grateful that I had the possibility to participate in something that beautiful, I am very thankful for all the people who were involved in this process. When I came to Costa Rica almost nine months ago, I had never imagined, that something like this would and could happened, but it really is one of the best things which has happened to me here. 

Premiere.

Schon vor einer Woche, letzten Donnerstag (5. April), hatte unser Stück „Nube de pájaros“ (Nube de Pájaros) Premiere. Ich glaube, ich kann im Namen aller sprechen und sagen, dass wir einen unglaublichen Abend hatten, den wir so schnell (nie) vergessen werden und der immer wichtig sein wird. Wir haben all unsere Energie und Kraft in diese 50 Minuten gesteckt und sind hoch geflogen für die fast 400 Menschen, die unser Stück gesehen haben.

Für mich war es ein sehr besonderer Abend, ein Abend, der mir wieder gezeigt hat, wie Kunst nicht nur diejenigen transformieren kann, die es sich anschauen, sondern auch die, uns, die dabei waren, es zu kreieren. Der gesamte Prozess des Projektes, jede Probe, jede Minute mit dieser einzigartigen Gruppe war besonders und sehr wichtig für und in meinem Leben. Ich habe sehr viel über mich selbst, meinen Körper, die Gruppe und ihre Mitglieder, Tanz und Kunst generell gelernt, ohne alles aufzuzählen; Wissen und Erfahrungen, die mich immer begleiten werden. Ich habe allerdings nicht nur Wissen und Erfahrungen gewonnen, sondern auch Freunde fürs Leben, Menschen, die sich in sehr kurzer aber intensiver Zeit von Unbekannten in etwas verwandelt haben, das sich wie Familie anfühlt. Ich bin sehr dankbar, dass ich die Möglichkeit hatte, an einem wunderschönen Prozess wie diesem teilnehmen zu können und bin allen sehr dankbar, die an diesem Prozess beteiligt waren und sind. Als ich vor knapp neun Monaten nach Costa Rica gekommen bin, habe ich mir niemals vorstellen können, dass so etwas passiert. Aber es ist wirklich eins der schönsten Dinge, die mir hier passiert sind.
